Nicola
Nicola Maxwell, Senior Consultant
nicola.maxwell@edomidas.com

Nicola began her professional career after graduating from Stirling University. She initially trained as a Financial Adviser and spent 6 years providing financial advice to private clients of Scottish Widows before an opportunity arose to work for Standard Life.

She moved into the field of Learning & Development in 2004 and hasn’t looked back since! She capitalised on her earlier experience by training people in regulated sales roles within financial services.

After qualifying as a Myers Briggs practitioner, she also developed a keen interest in psychology and has worked with a range of clients in the financial sector to deliver a range of sales, technical and behavioural training programmes. She also enjoys consulting with clients to identify the solution that’s right for them.

With two young children to look after there isn’t a lot of free time left for herself! Any down time is spent doing Pilates or, more recently, ‘fair-weather’ running. Living on the East Lothian coast, there is certainly no shortage of scenic trails to take your mind of the burn! Nicola is also an avid reader and although she now owns a ‘Kindle’, she’s determined it will never replace the real thing.

Person_connie
Connie Allardice, Senior Consultant
connie.allardice@edomidas.com

For 14 years Connie ran an HR/Business development consultancy business and in 2006 she sold the business to enjoy her “mid life crisis”. With her husband she bought a camper van and toured Europe for 18 months. Having worked with edoMidas previously on joint initiatives Connie joined the company on her return. Connie has coached and trained at senior levels in both public private sector organisations and since joining edoMidas she has been involved in both coaching and High Performance projects such as National Australia Group, Standard Life Investments, BiP Solutions and Burness LLP.

In her career she has worked with all sizes of companies from small early stage start ups to multinationals and her key areas of interest are growth SMEs and performance management.

18 months of travelling has only enhanced the travel bug and you will still find Connie disappearing off at every opportunity to explore new areas. Don’t be fooled when she tells you that she has no time in her diary, it will be another trip!

Helen's passion is animals and the countryside - riding her horse Kiri, walking her dog Morse or buying antiques ('cracked saucers' as David says!) for her country pad. Combining her love for animals and a great talent for painting, Helen is often commissioned to paint pet portraits.
